What is wrong with people just staying who they were?

For all my fellow Sex and the City fans, Charlotte's comment in last week's episode seemed to hit a nerve.

And for good reason.

My favorite tarot reader Kelley Knight will often say "you've just outgrown your container."

Don't you feel that way, too?

Haven't we all?

Through this pandemic where you can't help but face every mofo fear, trauma, stupid emotion, and idiosyncrasy like a game of whack-a-mole.

You can numb, but you can't hide.

The great blessing is that if you can no longer hide, you are forced to change.

I'm pitching my TV show idea to now THREE network executives this weekend. THREE!

And if you're like....whuh??? You can catch up real quick here.

And remember last week's email where I emphatically talked about the groundbreaking book, Patriarchy Stress Disorder?

I got the author, Dr. Valerie Rein to break it all down for us on this week's episode.

There's no doubt about it. This episode will change how you think about EVERYTHING!

  • The patriarchal framework of society

  • Our never-ending war with our own bodies

“Most of us don’t experience our bodies as our friends - rather they are things we have to manage and torture into compliance. We scheme about how we can squeeze more energy out of them or squeeze them into smaller-sized dressed with Spanx underneath.” -Dr. Valerie Rein😱😱😱😱

  • Ancestral, collective, and personal trauma (big T and little t trauma)

  • Praying to get sick

  • Driven to distraction

  • Breaking free from the prison

Because maybe we all just outgrew our container. And there's something way more nourishing on the other side.

It's time to finally break FREE!

P.S. I found a really thought-provoking new podcast that launched yesterday along these lines of changing culture. Big thanks to my cousin, Bridget for suggesting it.

P.P.S. SUPER excited about this. If you're in Atlanta, come dance Reb3l with me! I now have my own classes at a real live studio. I'm teaching tonight and on Saturday afternoon. No experience necessary!

P.P.P.S. If you're still reading this, I imagine this is what you're up to right now. 😂😂😂
